If you are staying in Campbeltown look no further than this B and B
Everything that you can think of is at Gowanlea Heights . Large sitting room with dining table where fantastic breakfast is served . Welcomed with home made cake As much cereal , yogurt , cakes to eat . Large clean bedroom Huge pride is taken by the owners in making this B and B exceptional

I have taken a few weeks trips around Scotland and stayed in various BnBs and this one was the best!!! Loads of extras and very quiet, very very comfortable

One of the best B&Bs we have stayed in, I wish our stay could have been longer!
- Nice, quiet location - Large bedroom, bathroom, and our own beautiful lounge to relax in - Great breakfast - Excellent host - Numerous nice touches, too many to list individually
- Small point but the bed was a bit squeaky. I have a bad hip and have to re-position at times during the night. Each time I did the squeaking bed was a potential disturbance for my wife

Great location for our needs
Very cozy. John and family were very gracious hosts. Snacks and drinks were very plentiful and the rooms were very comfortable

Excellent bed & breakfast in a perfect location for Campbeltown and the Mull of Kintyre
Excellent location with everything within easy walking distance. Breakfast was superb - great choice, generous, well prepared, and nicely served. Our host was friendly, helpful, provided sage guidance, and was good for conversation. We had a floor to ourselves, and the bedroom, bathroom, and dining room were all well furnished with everything we could need, including food and drink. Onsite free and secure parking.
The access between the bedroom and the bathroom was through two heavy doors, that could slam if not closed carefully, which was not so easy or convenient. In some respects we felt the house was under too much control, which made it somewhat difficult to fully relax.

Gowanlea Heights was fantastic again in every sense. Great breakfast, delicious cakes and sweets for tea time and the most wonderful room one can imagine. It feels like coming home, but much better 🙂 We will be back soon Heidrun and Martin

I had a lovely couple of days in Campbeltown and Gowanlea provided comfortable and spacious accommodation with a magnificent breakfast ! I highly recommend this charming and welcoming place.

B&Bs don’t get any better. That’s it. Don’t hesitate to book. Spent two nights with my wife and one adult son, we all loved it. The details, they’re incredible. John and David have thought of everything. And the breakfast is to die for. I still don’t understand how they cook everything to perfection and how it’s still all piping hot when served - one of life’s little mysteries!

Great place to stay! We had a wonderful stay at this B&B. The pre-arrival information emails we received were excellent and very helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The breakfast was absolutely top-notch, with a great selection. The hosts were incredibly friendly throughout our entire visit. It was also a big plus with free parking behind the house. The location was perfect, close to both the town center and the harbor. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again!

Two friends staying two nights for visiting distilleries in Campbeltown. Fantastic accommodation. Nice bedrooms and lounge/dining room as well as the nice garden. All this completely to yourself. A fantastic breakfast. We have stayed at quite a few B&B’s in Scotland, and this is the best one we have visited. We will be back.

Tolles B&B in sehr zentraler Lage, mit sehr schönen Schlafzimmern, einem sehr sauberes Badezimmer mit bodengleicher Dusche und Badewanne und einem sehr großen Wohnzimmer mit zwei sehr bequemen Sofas. Hier wird auch das absolut fantastisch Frühstück gereicht, ausserdem stehen jederzeit Snacks und Getränke zur Verfügung. John und David sind perfekte Gastgeber.

A delightful B&B - probably the best I’ve ever stayed at. The space is fantastic and there were Incredibly thoughtful touches throughout the property and it was welcoming, spotless and incredibly comfortable. Location is central yet quiet enough to be peaceful. Breakfast outstanding!

I stayed here the night after finishing Springbank School. The room was spacious, the location was convenient, the owner was super friendly, and the breakfast was great. It was nice to get some good rest and a good breakfast before I a full day of travel to get back to London. All in all, it was a great place to stay, and I plan on booking it again next time I';m in Campbeltown.

Wow, what a great bed and breakfast. John and his partner couldn’t do enough to make our stay more perfect. The breakfast was perfect . We highly recommend and we will definitely be back in the future 👍
